How to use the Female Condom

The female condom requires a little more effort to use and is more difficult than a male condom, but it does work to help prevent pregnancy. 2. The female condom is inserted in the vagina. You will use your fingers to do so. You might have to push harder than you expected. The inner portion can be squeezed with the help of your thumb and your middle finger.
3. The ring of the female condom should be inserted as far as possible into the vagina. This helps it from moving out of position.
4. The outer ring of the condom should remain outside and should not be pushed inside during sex.
5. Female condoms have dates in which they expire. Make sure you use it prior to the expiration date.

6. Follow directions on the package on how to remove the female condom. Again be careful not to damage the condoms with your fingernail.
